    Men's Swimming and Diving Falls to Indiana, 143-100

    EVANSTON, Ill.- The Northwestern men's swimming and diving team fell to the Indiana Hoosiers, 143-100, in a Big Ten meet Saturday in Bloomington, Ind.

    Steve Vongluekiat and Steve Steketee were both double-winners for the 'Cats. Steketee won the 100 free in 45.52 and the 200 free in 1:39.06. Vongluekiat was victorious in the 50 free, winning in a time of 21.03, and the 200 breast in a time of 2:04.37. Steketee also teamed with Steve Harms, Josh Carothers and Brian Walters to take the 400 free relay in 3:06.69. Walters posted an individual win in the 200 back in 1:49.99 and Bill Johnson won the 200 IM in 1:52.82.

    Northwestern is back in action next Fri., Jan. 23, when they travel to Northern Illinois, and Sat., Jan. 24 when they host Michigan State and Purdue in the Norris Aquatics Center at 2 p.m.
