Won his first-career dual-meet race with a 500 free victory against Big Ten foe Wisconsin (11/11) ... Followed that up with another win in the 200 free the next day versus UIC and North Dakota (11/12) ... Has eight total top-three dual-meet finishes on the season ... Qualified for the championship final in the 200 back at Northwestern's own five-team TYR Invitational (11/18-11/20), finishing in fourth position.

2010-11: Ranked on NU's top times list for the year in three different events, finishing second in the 500 free and 200 back while earning the third slot in the 200 free ... Had an outstanding Big Ten Championships, making precipitous drops to earn career-best times and finals appearances in all three of his events ... First, chopped 10 seconds from his career-best in the 500 free to make the consolation final with an NCAA `B' provisional qualifying time of 4:22.48 before taking 15th overall ... That time places him fourth on NU's all-time top times list in the event ... Cut more than two seconds from his career-best time in the 200 free to qualifying for the bonus final of the 200 free with an NCAA `B' cut of 1:38.11, ending up 19th overall ... Also qualified for the bonus final of the 200 back, placing 22nd with a career-best 1:48.32 in the evening session ... Made four championship final appearances at Northwestern's own five-team TYR Invitational (11/19-11/21), taking second in the 200 free and 200 back while finishing fifth in the 500 free and 200 IM ... Also competed in the 200 free (38th) and 500 free (46th) at the conference meet ... Cut more than 10 full seconds off his seed time in the 500 free race at the Big Ten meet ... Finished fourth overall in the 200 back at the Wildcats' six-team TYR Invitational ... Won the consolation final in the 200 free and the bonus final of the 100 back at the TYR ... Also made the consolation final of the 200 IM (13th) and the bonus heat of the 500 free (19th) at the Invite ...
