    2007-08: Primarily a 100 fly and 100 free swimmer this year ... Competed in the 100 fly, 50 free and 100 free at the Big Ten Championships ... Turned in a career-best 49.09 in the 100 fly, finishing 22nd overall in the event ... Also had a career-best 45.65 in the 100 free at the Big Ten meet ... Swam with the 800 free relay at the Big Ten Championships, which finished with an NCAA `B' cut of 6:33.71 ... Best dual-meet finish came in a second-place effort in the 100 free against Illinois-Chicago (Oct. 27) ... Had three other top-three dual-meet finishes ... Qualified for the bonus finals of both the 100 fly and 100 free at the Georgia Invitational (11/30-12/2) ... Team captain.

    2006-07: Made the bonus final in the 100 fly at the Big Ten Championships, finishing 19th in the finals after swimming a personal-best time of 49.17 in the prelims ... Also participated in the 100 and 200 free at the Big Ten Championships ... Broke into the victory column in the 50 free against Carthage, earning his first victory in a dual event as a Wildcat ... A regular participant in the 100 fly, with his time of 50.86 at the TYR Invitational earning him a place on Northwestern's top times list before the Big Ten meet ... Recorded three fifth-place finishes throughout the course of the season ... Switched gears this season and focused on freestyle events along with the fly events.

    2005-06: Finished 19th in the bonus final of the 100 fly at the Big Ten Championships with a 49.24, the team's third-best time in that event in 2005-06 ... Also swam the 200 IM at the Big Ten Championships, knocking three seconds off his best time of the year in the event with a 1:52.71 ... Finished second in the 200 free against Iowa with a 1:40.99 ... Member of the relay team that won the 300 yard butterfly relay at the NU Relays with a time of 2:34.07.

    2004-05: Transfer from Virginia.

    High School: Four-time Iowa state champion, three times in the 500 free and once in the 100 fly ... Also a two-time runner-up in the 100 fly ... Seven-time All American with honors coming in the 200 IM, 100 fly and 500 free ... State swimming MVP his senior year ... Honored as a Quad Cities Times Prep All Star his junior and senior years ...
