EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern fans will have plenty of opportunities to catch Wildcat Olympic sports on the Big Ten Network this fall. NU's field hockey, men's soccer, women's soccer and volleyball will all appear on the network in the coming months. The first of these broadcasts will be live at 3:30 p.m. CT Saturday, October 4, as men's soccer will host Penn State at Lakeside Field.
Men's soccer will appear on the network three times this fall out of the network's seven conference matches. After the October 4 match, NU will round out the network's regular-season schedule. The 'Cats travel to Michigan State on Nov. 2 and face Indiana in Bloomington on Nov. 7. All broadcasts of the Wildcats will be live.
Volleyball has three matches scheduled on the network this fall with the first coming on October 8 against Wisconsin at Welsh-Ryan Arena. NU's road match against the Badgers on October 29 will also be televised. The 'Cats' match at Ohio State on November 8 is also scheduled to be on the network.
Women's Soccer will appear on the network twice this fall. NU's home match against Michigan on October 19 and its road match at Minnesota on October 26 will both be televised live.
Field Hockey will make one appearance on the network when they travel to Indiana on November 1.
