Northwestern head coach Tim Lenahan went to the Champions League final in May as a special guest of Real Madrid's Santiago Solari, whom Lenahan coached at Richard Stockton College. Real won the title, 2-1, over Bayer Leverkusen (Germany) as Solari assisted the game-winning goal by Zinedine Zidane. Following the match, Lenahan was Solari's guest at the Champions Dinner.
