EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern men's soccer head coach Tim Lenahan today announced the addition of redshirt sophomore Nati Schnitman (Calabasas, Calif./Calabasas HS) as a transfer to the Wildcats program.

Schnitman transfers in from UCLA, where he spent the 2011 to 2013 seasons with the Bruins. After redshirting as a freshman in 2011, he played in three games with UCLA.

“Nati gives us another veteran player at the defensive midfield position and at center back,” Lenahan said. “He has an excellent pedigree having played with the LA Galaxy Academy teams and three years of training with a top program like UCLA. We will have a veteran group next year with ten seniors, and adding Nati to that group will certainly improve our depth and technical ability in those central positions.”
