    Wildcat Golf Day Brochure Get Acrobat Reader

    EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern will host its third annual Wildcat Golf Day with Luke Donald on Monday, Sept. 26, at Evanston Golf Club in Skokie, Ill., to benefit both NU's men's and women's golf programs.

    The event includes lunch, a 1:30 p.m. CT shotgun start, a clinic with Luke Donald, heavy hors d'oeuvres and an auction. Each group will play nine holes with a different Northwestern golfer. Cost for Wildcat Golf Day is $750 per person or $3000 for an entire foursome.

    "I am very excited to invite you to join us at the third annual Wildcat Golf Day with Luke Donald at Evanston Golf Club," said men's head coach and NU Director of Golf Pat Goss. "This will be a wonderful day at an amazing facility hosted by our most famous golf alum, Luke Donald, who is currently the world's No. 1 ranked golfer. This will be a memorable event on the golf calendar, so please invite fellow NU fans, clients, golf fans and friends."

    Donald is in the midst of the best season of his career, climbing to the No. 1 spot in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) on May 29, 2011. In addition to wins at the 2011 WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship, the BMW PGA Championship and the Scottish Open, Donald has 12 worldwide top-10 finishes on the year. He currently is the leading money winner on both the PGA and European Tours in 2011.

    Evanston Golf Club is a par-70 Donald Ross design opened in 1917 and restored by Don Pritchard in 2006. Evanston Golf Club has been a huge supporter of NU Golf, hosting the 2008 women's event, the Windy City Collegiate Classic.
