EVANSTON, Ill. -- Two Wildcats, junior Jack Perry (Santa Barbara, Calif./Santa Barbara) and senior Nick Losole (Scottsdale, Ariz./Scottsdale Notre Dame), have been named All-Big Ten first team honorees, the conference office announced today (May 1).

Northwestern now has had a first-team All-Big Ten award winner in each of the last four seasons. NU is the lone conference school with multiple first-team honorees and has multiple first-team selections for the first time since it won the Big Ten title in 2006. The All-Big Ten honor is the first for both Perry and Losole.

Perry, who on Sunday was awarded the conference's Les Bolstad Award for having the lowest stroke average among B1G student-athletes, led NU in 2012-13 with a 71.61 average, reached by compiling eight top-20 finishes, five top-10s and a pair of victories. He is the first Wildcat to earn the Les Bolstad since Luke Donald in 2001.

Perry's best performance this year came in the regular-season finale when he broke Donald and David Lipsky's school 54-hole tournament scoring record of 202 with a 16-under 200 to win the Northwestern Spring Invitational by eight strokes. He is ranked 54th in the Golfweek/Sagarin ratings and 58th by Golfstat.

Losole earned his first All-Big Ten award with the best season of his career, playing to a 72.48 stroke average while earning four top-10 and three top-5 finishes. He opened the year on fire with a T3 at the Inverness Intercollegiate, a T8 at the Windon Memorial and a T2 at the Olympia Fields CC/Fighting Illini Invitational in NU's first three events.

Overall, Losole carded 12 rounds at par or better and a team-best six rounds in the 60s during the year.

Junior John Callahan (Hinsdale, Ill./Benet Academy) was named NU's Big Ten Sportsmanship Award honoree for 2012-13.
