EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern plays host to a showcase of Chicago area Division I collegiate golf Monday and Tuesday, April 15-16, at the Northwestern Spring Invitational at The Glen Club in Glenview, Ill.

The 14-team tournament features every NCAA DI program from Chicago and many more from around the state. The complete field is comprised of Northwestern, DePaul, Loyola (Chicago), Chicago State, Bradley, Northern Illinois, Illinois State, Western Illinois, Marquette, IUPUI, Dayton, Ohio, Ohio State and St. John's.

The event will be held at The Glen Club, a Tom Fazio design which opened in 2001 and immediately played host to the then-Nationwide Tour's LaSalle Bank/Bank of America Open for seven years as well as the 2005 Big Ten/Pac-10 Challenge. The Glen Club, ranked as the No. 2 best public course in Illinois by Golf Magazine and the No. 2 "course you can play" in Illinois by Golfweek, also is home to the exclusive Luke Donald Outdoor Practice Facility for the Wildcats men's and women's programs.
