    EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern begins its final push toward the 2013 Big Ten Championships this Thursday through Saturday, March 28-30, at the U.S. Intercollegiate hosted by Stanford at the Stanford Golf Course.

    The 17-team field will play 18 holes on each of the three days of the tournament with tee times off both nines beginning at 10 a.m. CT/8 a.m. PT each day. Live results are not available at Golfstat.com, but instead can be found at Golfgamebook.com.

    The field features five current Golfstat.com top-30 programs: No. 7 USC, No. 10 Stanford, No. 12 TCU, No. 27 Saint Mary's (Calif.) and No. 29 Northwestern. Eight other schools are ranked in the top-100 and one program, Hawaii-Hilo, is the 21st ranked team in Division II currently.

    Northwestern has spent the early part of spring break this week practicing and playing on some fantastic courses throughout California. On Monday alone the Wildcats played Cypress Point in the morning before taking on Pebble Beach in the afternoon.     Following this tournament, Northwestern will return home to host the Kemper Sports Intercollegiate April 15-16 at The Glen Club in Glenview, Ill., before the Big Ten Championships April 26-28 in French Lick, Ind.
