EVANSTON, Ill. -- A week after squaring off against the nation's best teams at the Puerto Rico Classic, Northwestern, ranked 28th in the latest Golfweek/Sagarin index, jumps right back into action against another field with numerous ranked foes this Sunday through Tuesday, March 4-6, at the Seminole Intercollegiate in Tallahassee, Fla.

The 'Cats finished 14th at last week's Puerto Rico Classic and were led by Jonathan Bowers (Columbus, Ohio/Bishop Watterson), who paced the 'Cats with a 47th-place finish.

For the second week in a row, the 'Cats are playing on a course they are familiar with -- the Golden Eagle Country Club (par-72, 6,635 yards). Northwestern tallied a ninth-place finish at last year's Seminole Intercollegiate with Chris Wilson (Dublin, Ohio/Dublin Coffman) leading the charge with a 12th-place finish.

The 15-team field for the 54-hole event includes nine teams ranked in the top 50 of the latest Golfweek/Sagarin index: the 28th-ranked 'Cats, No. 13 North Carolina, No. 14 East Tennessee State, No. 26 and host Florida State, No. 31 Auburn, No. 35 North Carolina State, No. 36 UAB, No. 41 Vanderbilt and No. 44 UCF.

Rounding out the field are No. 56 Mississippi, No. 61 Mississippi State, No. 68 LSU, No. 84 Toledo and No. 131 College of Charleston.

Play at the Seminole Intercollegiate begins at 6:30 a.m. CT on Sunday with the first Wildcat teeing off at 8 a.m. The teams will play 18 holes each day.
