Support the First Tee By Purchasing a Lesson With Pat Goss!
EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern head men's golf coach Pat Goss, one of Golf Magazine's Top 100 Teachers in America, is participating for the second-consecutive year in the Illinois PGA's Winter Teach-a-Thon to benefit the First Tee of Greater Chicago.
Golfers of any age and ability -- with the exception of any high school student enrolled in ninth to 12th grades or junior college -- can sign up for a 30 minute lesson either Monday, March 12, or Tuesday, March 13, with Goss, who also serves as the swing coach for the World's No. 1 ranked golfer, Luke Donald. Cost is $100 per half hour, and 100 percent of the proceeds directly benefit the First Tee.
"I am happy to support the First Tee of Greater Chicago," Goss said. "This is a great way for you to support a great cause that I have enjoyed being involved with."
Lessons will take place at Northwestern's $1.1 million Gleacher Golf Center on its Evanston campus. The Center features a teaching area with three digital video cameras connected to two monitors, a hitting area with three stations, a 2,375 square foot pitching and putting green with a special sand-bed golf surface and a 280 square foot sand bunker.
