    Wildcat Men's Golf Tied For Fourth Place at Big Ten Championships

    Seppanen and Donald in top 10.

    EAST LANSING, Mich. -- The Northwestern men's golf team stands tied for fourth place after two rounds of the 1998 Big Ten Men's Golf Championship, posting team scores of 296-309 for a total of 605. Host school Michigan State leads at 593. NU and MSU were tied after round one at 296.

    Individually for NU, Matt Seppanen is in fourth place at three-over-par 147 (68-79). His opening round 68 was the only sub-70 round posted by any golfer on Friday. Freshman Luke Donald is currently tied for sixth at 149 (74-75). Team standings and NU individual scores after two rounds appear below. Round three will take place on Saturday with the final round scheduled for Sunday.
