    Men's Golf Takes Sixth Place at Wolverine Invite

    'Cats head to Big Ten Championships next weekend.

    ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The Northwestern men's golf team finished in sixth place in its final tuneup for the Big Ten Championships, posting rounds of 292-292-286 for a team total of 870. Ohio State won the event at 854. Individually for NU, freshman Luke Donald tied for 14th place at two-over-par 215. including a final round 69. Final team standings and NU's individual results appear below.

    Next up for NU is the Big Ten Championships, set for May 7-10 in East Lansing, Mich. The 'Cats then head to the NCAA Central Regionals on May 14-16 in San Antonio, Texas. The NCAA Championships are scheduled for May 20-23 in Albuquerque, N.M.
