EVANSTON, Ill. -- The Northwestern men's golf team is tied for fourth place after two rounds of the Dr. Pepper Intercollegiate Championships in Lake Texoma, Texas. NU posted a team total of 601 (297-304) on Saturday, tying SMU for fourth place. Minnesota leads the tournament at one-under-par 575.
Luke Donald is NU's top individual after Saturday's play, shooting rounds of 72-73 to stand tied for sixth place at one-over-par 145. Minnesota's James McLean leads the tournament at five-under-par 139. Team and Northwestern's individual standings after day one are as follows:
