2012-13: Competed in eight stroke play events and the Big Ten Match Play Championship as a member of the team lineup ... Ranked third on the team with a 74.46 stroke average and seven rounds at par or better ... After a rough opening 6-over 78 at the Puerto Rico Classic (2/17-2/19), bounced back to shot 3-under 69 and a season-best 4-under 68 to rebound all the way up to a 22nd-place finish ... Those scores kick started a strong spring season that included two top-20 finishes ... Was at or below par in every round of the Fresno State Lexus Golf Classic (3/4-3/5), opening with a 72 before carding a 3-under 69 and a 2-under 70 to place a career-best 11th ... Closed the regular season with a 12th-place result that helped NU to the team title at its own Spring Invitational (4/15-4/16) ... Twice recorded second-round even-par 71s during the fall, first at NU's own Windon Memorial Classic and again at the Gifford Collegiate at CordeValle ... Best fall finish was a 33rd-place result at the season-opening Inverness Intercollegiate ... Outside of collegiate competition, advanced out of U.S. Open local qualifying at Northmoor County Club in Highland Park, Ill., with a t-5 69 before winning a playoff on the second hole to move on to the Sectional qualifier (5/6).
2011-12: Competed in eight Northwestern stroke play tournaments, five as a member of the team lineup and three times as an individual while also playing in the Big Ten Match Play Championship ... Had six rounds of par or better and three in the 60s ... Fired a 2-under 69 in his first collegiate round at the Marshall Invitational (Sept. 12-13) ... Finished a fall-season-best 29th at that tournament ... Shot a 2-under 70 in the second round of The Prestige at PGA WEST (Oct. 10) ... In Northwestern's match play win over then-No. 1 UCLA on October 13 at Evanston Golf Club, earned a half point with a halved match against Alex Kim ... Playing as an individual at the NYX Hoosier Invitational, fired a second-round 6-under 65 to match Eric Chun's NU-best score of the season and help himself to a season-best15th-place individual finish.
High School: During the summer of 2010, played his final five tournaments with a stroke average of 70.6, shooting 70 or better in nine of 15 rounds ... Has been the medalist in 34 of 44 high school events ... Grossmont Hills All-League first team in 2008, 2009 and 2010 while earning All-CIF San Diego Section first team in 2009 and 2010 ...
