2011 Northwestern Football Season Tickets on Sale Monday, Jan. 3!

WATCH: TicketCity Bowl Friday Coaches' News Conference

DALLAS -- Northwestern wrapped up its TicketCity Bowl preparations Friday morning with a team photo and walk through at the Cotton Bowl prior to a pep rally for the fans at 5 p.m., also on the grounds of the Cotton Bowl.

The Wildcats began their Bowl Week fun with a welcome party at the House of Blues on Dec. 28 before attending a game night at Main Event on Dec. 29. On Thursday evening, Dec. 30, the players attended a Dallas Mavericks vs. San Antonio Spurs game while the staffs from both schools toured the Southfork Ranch, taping site of the hit 1980s television show Dallas.

Following Friday's walk through, head coach Pat Fitzgerald and captains Al Netter and Corbin Bryant took part in the TicketCity Bowl pregame news conference at the Cotton Bowl.

All month long, head coach Pat Fitzgerald has emphasized that the events are fun, but in the end the Wildcats are on a business trip to win a bowl game. Kickoff for that bowl game finally is less than 24 hours away at 11 a.m. CT Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011, on ESPNU.
