EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern's Gridiron Network (NGN) concluded the 2010 football season with its election of new officers. The newly elected officers include:
Robert (Bob) Hayward, '94, BSS, '97 JD, President
Adam Paoli, `00, BA, Vice President/Treasurer
Rick Grossman, '76 BA, '79 MMGT, Secretary
Hayward is co-chair of Northwestern's Annual Fund and a member of the Leadership Circle of Chicago. He is an attorney with Kirkland and Ellis and resides in Northfield, Ill.
Hayward indicated that these are exciting times for Northwestern Wildcat football.
"Our program is competing at its highest level ever and enjoying unprecedented success on and off the football field. However, our work is far from over. It takes hard work, dedication and plenty of resources to win championships which is where the NGN makes a real difference.
"My goal is to continue to lead the effort to generate financial support from our alumni, fans and friends to make Northwestern football a formidable and consistent competitor for Big Ten titles and New Year's Day bowl appearances."
The NGN has been a major contributor the Wildcat football program for the past 17 years, providing additional resources to recruit, teach and train. The annual NGN Auction is the major fundraising arm of the NGN and has been a significant influence in the creation of a players lounge, meeting and weight room renovations, the FieldTurf practice field and other programs which enhance the playing experience of the Northwestern football players and their coaches.
