EVANSTON, Ill. -- On the football field there isn't much that senior superback Mark Woodsum wouldn't do to help the 'Cats win. Now Woodsum is taking his passion for Northwestern off the gridiron to make his final year at Northwestern a winner as well. In a new video series called "What Wouldn't Woody Do?," Woodsum will be taking part in other campus activities as a way to get more involved before he enters the real world in June.
"I haven't had much time to get involved in other activities besides football, so I'm looking forward to meeting new people on campus with these different groups," Woodsum said. "My teammates and I really appreciate all of our classmates who come out to support us on game days so it will be fun to spend time with them outside of Ryan Field."
New episodes of "What Wouldn't Woody Do?" -- hosted by senior teammate Brendan Mitchell -- will air on NUsports.com and the Northwestern Athletics Facebook page every other Wednesday beginning today. If you have suggestions for campus activities you would like to see Woody participate in, please e-mail wildcatmarketing@northwestern.edu or make your suggestion on the wall of the Northwestern Athletics Facebook page. Be sure to come out to Ryan Field this Saturday at 2:30 pm for Woody's last home game at Ryan Field. Tickets are still available for as low as $35 for adults and $20 for children.
