    Final NGN Luncheon Set for Friday at Harry Caray's!

    EVANSTON, Ill. -- The Northwestern Gridiron Network (NGN) and Chicago's Big Ten TeamTM are set to host the final NGN Luncheon of the 2013 season this Friday (Nov. 15) at Harry Caray's Restaurant in Chicago. In addition to hearing from head coach Pat Fitzgerald and select Northwestern players, attendees also will be treated to a speech from Napoleon Harris, a former standout NU and NFL linebacker and a current State Senator in Illinois (D-Flossmoor).

    A limited number of seats remain available for this week's luncheon and may be purchased through Jean Yale (j-yale@northwestern.edu) at a cost of $35 per person. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. with the program to follow at approximately noon. The event is open to any and all fans of the Wildcats.

    Harry Caray's Restaurant is located at 33 W Kinzie Street in Chicago.

    Harris was a two-time second-team All-Big Ten honoree in his playing days with the Wildcats before being drafted in the first round of the 2002 NFL Draft by the Oakland Raiders. As a rookie, Harris helped the Raiders win an AFC Championship and reach the Super Bowl against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

     

     

    Northwestern is entering the home stretch of the 2013 regular season and on Saturday will host Legends Division foe Michigan at 2:30 p.m. CT at Ryan Field.
