EVANSTON, Ill. -- Online auctions are underway and bidding has begun on custom-made Under Armour jerseys that Northwestern will wear against Michigan Saturday (Nov. 16) in support of the Wounded Warrior Project. As of Monday, Nov. 11, fans may now participate in a special live online auction to secure one of these limited-edition, game-issued jerseys worn by the Wildcats, with 100 percent of the auction proceeds benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project.
The online auction will continue through 1 p.m. CT on Wednesday, Nov. 20, following Saturday's game against the Wolverines.
Under Armour has replaced the players' last names on the back of each jersey with one of the seven core value embellishments: DUTY, HONOR COURAGE, COMMITMENT, INTEGRITY, COUNTRY and SERVICE.
In addition to the auction proceeds, Northwestern Athletics also is donating 100 percent of its share of proceeds from retail sales of replica WWP-inspired uniforms.
Northwestern vs. Michigan will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT in Evanston. Limited tickets remain available on NUPurplePricing.com
or by contacting the Northwestern Athletics ticket office at 888-GO-PURPLE.
Fans can visit UA.com or a Northwestern campus bookstore to purchase their own fan gear and a percentage of the proceeds will support WWP. To learn more about how you can support the Wounded Warrior Project or
