EVANSTON, Ill. --As kids get ready to head back to school, make sure they have something fun to tell their classmates when the teacher asks, "What did you do this summer?" Bring the entire family out to Ryan Field for the Wildcats' Meet the Team Night presented by AthletiCo at 6 p.m. on Friday, August 26, to hang out with the Wildcat Football team -- playing catch, kicking field goals, taking pictures and much more!

This free event begins at the north end of Ryan Field on Walker Terrace where fans will have the opportunity to get the inside scoop on the 'Cats upcoming season directly from head coach Pat Fitzgerald, who will address the crowd. Email your questions in advance to wildcatmarketing@northwestern.edufor a chance to have them answered live by coach Fitzgerald that evening. Fans will then have the chance to meet the individual position units in stations scattered around Ryan Field.

Fans also will have the chance to partake in discounted concessions, which includes Vienna Beef hot dogs and Coke products each selling for $1. The event ends at 8 p.m. For questions about the 2011 Meet the Team Night presented by AthletiCo e-mail wildcatmarketing@northwestern.edu.
