Practice Photo Gallery -- BTN Visits Camp Kenosha

KENOSHA, Wis. -- One day after opening Camp Kenosha with a challenging 22-period practice, the 'Cats were back at it Tuesday afternoon at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, this time under the watchful eye of guests from the Big Ten Network's traveling bus tour.

Representing the start of the second half of BTN's swing through 12 conference training camps, Northwestern put on a good show before, during and after a spirited practice under sunny skies. BTN studio hosts Dave Revsine, Gerry DiNardo and Howard Griffith as well as BTN columnist Tom Dienhart liked what they saw from the Wildcats, commenting via social media on NU's improved team speed and depth.

Head coach Pat Fitzgerald then renewed the traditional Camp Kenosha watermelon eating contest, pitting (no pun intended) each and every Wildcats freshman against one another in the annual spectacle.

Afterward, BTN hosted Fitzgerald, coordinators Mick McCall and Mike Hankwitz as well as Kain Colter, Tyler Scott and Venric Mark on set to preview the season, with Colter also taking time to become the latest Big Ten player to autograph his likeness on BTN's tour bus.
