EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern head coach Pat Fitzgerald is the subject of the most recent edition of Comcast Sportsnet Chicago's Inside Look program, a monthly 30-minute profile of a prominent Windy City sports figure. The show will debut at 11:30 a.m. CT on Wednesday, July 6, and will re-air at 4:30 p.m. CT on Sunday, July 10.

Previous installments of Inside Look have featured such high-profile members of the Chicago sports landscape as the 1991 Chicago Bulls NBA championship team, Chicago Blackhawks legend Denis Savard and Chicago White Sox general manager Kenny Williams.

Now in his sixth season as head coach of his alma mater, Fitzgerald in 2008 was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in recognition of his stellar playing career at NU, during which he was a two-time national defensive player of the year. Fitzgerald is 34-29 at the helm of the Wildcats and has led Northwestern to three consecutive bowl appearances, including New Year's Day games following the 2009 and 2010 seasons.
