EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern University and the Big Ten Conference announced kickoff times and television information today for the Wildcats' home non-conference games.

All three Northwestern home games -- Aug. 30 vs. Syracuse, Sept. 13 vs. Southern Illinois and Sept. 20 vs. Ohio -- will kick off at 11 a.m. CDT.

Northwestern's season-opening game vs. the Orange will be televised by either ESPN or ESPN2 (the network will announce a definitive channel in the coming weeks). The other two home games, vs. SIU and Ohio, will be carried live by the Big Ten Network (BTN).

The Wildcats' fourth non-conference game, a road date at Duke on Sept. 6, was previously announced as a 6 p.m. CDT start (7 p.m. EDT) in Durham, N.C. No television coverage is presently scheduled for that contest.

All Northwestern games can also be heard on WGN (720 AM, wgnradio.com) and WNUR (89.3 FM).

Season tickets and three-packs are still available for the upcoming Wildcat football season, which again features seven home games. Single-game tickets go on sale Monday, July 21. Visit NUsports.com or call 847-491-CATS for ticket information.

Northwestern is returning 19 starters from last year's squad, which finished 6-6 and just missed out on a fourth bowl bid since 2000.
