    USA Football's Protection Tour Coming to Northwestern

    EVANSTON, Ill. -- USA Football's Protection Tour will make a stop at Ryan Field on the campus of Northwestern University to promote proper equipment fitting, tackling fundamentals and concussion awareness to further advance youth football player safety. The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 19, from 1-4 p.m., with registration beginning at Noon.

    Players, coaches and parents from Chicago area youth football leagues are invited to attend free of charge. Please note that the session is limited to the first 250 player registrants.

    Players will participate in a USA Football Heads Up Tackling Clinic as well as a unique helmet fitting session in which each player will receive helmet size measurements while parents will learn about concussion management and awareness.
