    Northwestern Football Ticket Purchasing Information

    EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern University and the Big Ten Conference announced the kickoff time and television plans today for the Wildcats' first home game on Saturday, Sept. 10 against Eastern Illinois.

    Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. CT and the Big Ten Network (BTN) will televise the game live from Ryan Field.

    With Tuesday's announcement, Northwestern has solidified start times for its first eight games of the 2011 campaign. NU kicks off the season at 11 a.m. CT on Saturday, Sept. 3 at Boston College before heading back to Evanston to face the Panthers in its home-opener. Following road games at Army and Illinois, NU will play three consecutive night games -- including two at Ryan Field -- beginning with a 6 p.m. CT home tilt against Michigan on Saturday, Oct. 8.
