    EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern football coach Pat Fitzgerald makes his annual trek to Wrigley Field this Tuesday, May 24 to serve as the seventh-inning guest conductor for "Take Me Out to the Ball Game."

    Tuesday's Cubs-Mets game is scheduled to begin at 7:05 p.m. CT and it will be televised by WGN-TV (Channel 9).

    Fitzgerald, who is making his sixth annual trip to Wrigley Field to take part in one of baseball's most unique traditions, also will toss one of the game's first pitches at approximately 6:45 p.m.

    Prior to the game, Fitzgerald will be visiting with Wildcat fans and alumni at Mullen's Bar & Grill (3527 N. Clark Street) from 5:30 until 6:15 p.m. If you wish to attend the 5 p.m. event at Mullen's, tickets can be purchased through the Northwestern Club of Chicago.

    Fitzgerald will conduct interviews with WGN Radio (sixth inning) and WGN-TV (seventh inning) during the game.

    Any Northwestern students, faculty or staff who would like to attend Tuesday's game can purchase game tickets for just $15. Tickets can be purchased HERE.
