EVANSTON, Ill. -- For the first time in Northwestern Football history, the Wildcats in 2013 will host three games with primetime kickoffs at Ryan Field. In addition to its previously announced 7 p.m. CT Homecoming kickoff vs. Ohio State (Oct. 5), Northwestern also will stage primetime contests in its Sept. 7 home-opener vs. Syracuse (5 p.m. CT) and again one week later vs. Western Michigan (8 p.m. CT).
Both the Syracuse and Western Michigan games will be carried live on the Big Ten Network.
This is the second year in a row in which Northwestern's home-opener will be contested in primetime after also playing under the lights in a win over Vanderbilt to begin the 2012 home season. In week two, Northwestern will be facing Western Michigan in the first-ever meeting between the two schools.
Season tickets for the 2013 Northwestern Football season are the optimal way to guarantee a seat for all seven games at Ryan Field this upcoming season. Tickets may be purchased via NUsports.com's online ticket center or by speaking with a ticket sales representative by calling 888-GO-PURPLE.
Season tickets for NU's seven-game home schedule begin at $152 for adults -- a 51-percent savings off single-game ticket prices -- and $99 for youths.
The Wildcats are coming off a 10-win season, capped by a victory in the 2013 TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl and top-20 year-end rankings in both the Associated Press and USA Today/Coaches Polls.
