    Malin Jones was granted his release from Northwestern in June, 2014.

    2013:Played in eight games, both at running back and as a backup to Dan Vitale at superback ... Caught one pass for six yards vs. Syracuse and recorded three rushing attempts on the year.

    2012:Redshirted his true freshman season ... Named the Offensive Practice Player of the Week following the Boston College game and earned the honor on special teams following Michigan game.
