    General: After struggling with injuries in his career, made his most significant contributions late in his career, mostly in 2005.

    2005: Played in four games, including the 2005 Vitalis Sun Bowl ... Totaled two tackles (one solo) and forced a fumble vs. the Bruins ... Finished the year with three tackles.

    High School: A 2001 all-SICA Orange and all-area defensive lineman ... Tabbed the SICA Orange "Best Defensive Lineman" in 2001 ... Totaled 79 tackles, six sacks, eight quarterback hurries, one pass breakup and one blocked kick ... Also recovered a fumble for a touchdown vs. Eisenhower ... Richards went 41-3 overall during his four-year career, including unbeaten and first-place finishes in the SICA Orange all four year ... Bulldogs (13-1) reached the state finals in 2001 before falling to Providence in the Class 6A state championship game ... Missed playing in the state title game after suffering a dislocated kneecap in the state semifinal victory ... Richards advanced to the state quarterfinals his junior year ...
