EVANSTON, Ill. - Single-game tickets for the upcoming 2009-10 Northwestern men's basketball season are now on sale. This year's slate features numerous quality opponents and a school-record 19 home games overall at Welsh-Ryan Arena.

This season's home schedule includes preseason No. 2 Michigan State, No. 7 Purdue, No. 11 Butler, No. 15 Michigan, No. 23 Illinois and No. 25 Minnesota all visiting Welsh-Ryan Arena in addition other great opponents like Stanford, Wisconsin and Indiana.

The best value and seat locations go to Wildcat Season Ticket holders and 5-Pack Mini Plan purchasers. The deadline to purchase season tickets is Friday, November 13.

In addition to a veteran Wildcat team led by senior Kevin Coble and junior Michael Thompson, the Wildcat Basketball season will also include entertainment from the Bucket Boys, Red Panda, Zooperstars, Chicago Boyz Acrobatic Team, Quick Change and more.

Tickets can be purchased online or by calling the Ticket Office at 847-491-CATS (2287). The Northwestern Athletics Ticket Office is open at the south end of Ryan Field from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
