EVANSTON, Ill. -
Tip times and television designations have been announced for the 2013 Big Ten/ACC Challenge presented by Dick's Sporting Goods. Northwestern and NC State will tip at 6:30 p.m. Central time Dec. 4 in Raleigh with the contest being televised by ESPNU.
The contest will be the third meeting between the schools in the Challenge, all in Raleigh. NC State posted a 74-49 victory Dec. 4, 2002 before the Wildcats earned a 65-53 victory Dec. 1, 2009.
NU is 6-8 overall in its first 14 Challenge matchups, including victories four of the last five years.
ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU will combine to televise all 12 games of the two-day event matching top college basketball programs playing for conference supremacy and the Commissioners Cup. All 12 games will also be available via WatchESPN.
