    Thompson to Be Featured on New Episode of The Journey on Monday

    EVANSTON, Ill. - Basketball season may be over, but former Northwestern point guard Michael Thompson is being featured on a brand-new episode of The Journey on Big Ten Network at 7 p.m. Monday, June 27.

    BTN is airing five new summer episodes of The Journey focusing on departing Big Ten basketball players as they work out in preparation for their potential post-collegiate careers as well as going through graduation ceremonies.

    Thompson's episode is the first in the series to air. He is being featured alongside Illinois' Demetri McCamey. The show re-airs later that evening at 10:30 p.m. Check local listings for future re-airs.

    Thompson, who earned third-team All-Big Ten honors as a senior, completed his NU career in 2010-11 ranked first in school history in assists (528), minutes played (4,633), games played and games started (129), second in 3-point field goals (276), third in points (1,689), fifth in steals (159) and sixth in 3-point field goal percentage (.409).
