EVANSTON, Ill. (AP) - Craig Moore scored a career-high 26 points and Kevin Coble added a career-high 25 points Saturday to lead Northwestern to a 77-75 victory over Western Michigan 77-75 in overtime.

Northwestern was up 63-61 with 59 seconds left in regulation when Joe Reitz scored on a layup while being fouled. He missed the free throw.

It was the fourth straight win for the Wildcats (5-2), who were trailing 30-27 at halftime.

Coble scored the first basket of overtime on a layup to start a 7-0 run that included Moore's sixth 3-pointer.

The Broncos responded with a 7-0 run of their own, tying the game with a when David Kool hit a 3-pointer in transition after intercepting a pass from Coble.

Northwestern converted 7-of-8 free throws in the final 1:01 of overtime, including a pair from Coble with 20 seconds left after Kool fouled him on a dunk attempt.

Kool was called for an intentional foul, giving Northwestern the ball back. But the Wildcats turned the ball over, and later fouled Michael Redell, who made two free throws to pull the Broncos to within one at 76-75 with 10 seconds to play.

Coble made 1-of-2 free throws with 5 seconds to play, giving Western Michigan the final possession. But the Broncos didn't get a shot off.

Moore's previous career high came in Northwestern's last game, a win over Miami (Fla.), when he scored 24 points and made a school-record seven 3-pointers. He was 6-of-10 from 3-point range on Saturday.

Derek Fracalossi led Western Michigan (3-6) with 14 points. Kool and Reitz both finished with 11 points.
