EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern will continue its tour of National League Central stadiums Wednesday, April 24 with a tilt against the UW-Milwaukee Panthers at Miller Park, the home of the Milwaukee Brewers. The first pitch is set for 4:05 p.m.

Wednesday's game marks the second time in as many years that the Wildcats will make the trip north on Interstate 94 to tangle with the Panthers. Milwaukee won last year's tilt, 6-4. NU and UWM also met in the big-league ballpark for a doubleheader in 2010 with the clubs splitting those affairs. Northwestern leads the all-time series against Milwaukee, 14-9.

Freshman Reed Mason is listed as Northwestern's probable starting pitcher Wednesday. The southpaw is 1-1 with a 2.84 ERA in his inaugural campaign. In his first start of the season against another Horizon League foe, UIC, on April 3, Mason threw seven scoreless innings with a career-high five strikeouts to help the Wildcats secure a 3-1 victory.

Milwaukee will be sending southpaw Tyler Thicke to the hill. Thicke is 0-1 with an 11.57 ERA in 12 appearances for the Panthers. Wednesday will mark his second start.

Admission and parking are both free for Wednesday's game. The parking lots and gates will open one hour prior to the first pitch. For more game notes and information, please click on the PDF at the top of the page.
