EVANSTON, Ill. -- Following Monday's unseasonably late snow fall and with the onset of chilly temperatures, Tuesday's nonconference game between Northwestern and Milwaukee at Rocky Miller Park has been canceled. No makeup date has been announced.

The Wildcats will continue to march through their nonconference slate on Wednesday, April 16 at Chicago State. The game will take place under the lights with the first pitch scheduled for 6 p.m.

Northwestern jumps back into Big Ten play this weekend with a three-game series against the Nebraska Cornhuskers at Haymarket Park in Lincoln, Neb. Friday's game will begin at 7 p.m. and it will be televised live on the Big Ten Network. Kevin Kugler will handle play-by-play duties with Danan Hughes serving as the color analyst.
