EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern makes it annual trip to Winter Haven, Fla., for its spring break trip as it plays six games over a five-day span beginning with a 9 a.m. Central time contest against Eastern Illinois on Friday.

The Wildcats play a doubleheader Saturday, taking on Navy at 8 a.m. followed by a noon contest against Bucknell. Sunday's action pits NU against Long Island at 9 a.m. before a 3 p.m. matchup against Jacksonville State on Monday. Northwestern concludes its trip by facing Nebraska-Omaha at noon on Tuesday.

NU is coming off a three-game series at UIC last weekend with the Wildcats taking the final game of the set, 11-10. Paul Snieder and Walker Moses hit home runs for NU with the latter proving to be the game-winner in the top of the sixth inning. Moses, Jack Havey and Jack Livingston posted three hits apiece for the 'Cats.

Zach Morton is pacing the Wildcats with a .353 batting average at the plate, while Nick Linne and Jack Havey are close behind at .346 and .345, respectively. Havey has seven multi-hit games to his credit and has hit safely in each of the last six games entering the weekend. Linne has notched a trio of three-hit games. Snieder has team bests of four home runs, 11 runs batted in and a .596 slugging percentage.

Francis Brooke is leading all starting pitchers with a 2.61 ERA and Michael Jahns leads the relievers with a miniscule 1.12 ERA in five appearances. Kyle Ruchim has saves in three of Northwestern's four victories thus far and has eight strikeouts in 7 1/3 innings pitched.
