EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern Athletics and LifeSource, Chicagoland's Blood Center, are excited to announce the next Purple Pride Blood Drive to be held at Ryan Field on Saturday, April 6 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Northwestern fans are encouraged to register online and schedule an appointment in advance by clicking HERE!
Head coach Pat Fitzgerald and the Northwestern football team, fresh off its win in the 2013 Gator Bowl over Mississippi State, and Kelly Amonte Hiller, leader of the seven-time national champion women's lacrosse team, are offering several great incentives for those who donate during the Purple Pride Blood Drive. All registered donors will be permitted to watch the football team practice from 10 a.m. until noon on April 6. In addition, fans will have the opportunity to have their picture taken with the 2013 Gator Bowl trophy!
In conjunction with the seven-time national champions, all registered donors will also receive a FREE game ticket to any 2013 home lacrosse game at Lakeside Field. The lacrosse team will bring out some hardware of its own for fans to enjoy, the 2012 NCAA national championship trophy. Wildcat fans will have a photo opportunity with the lacrosse trophy as well.
