EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern today announced the members of its Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2017, which will formally be inducted during Hall of Fame weekend Sept. 15-16 surrounding the Wildcats' home football game against Bowling Green at Ryan Field.

This year's class comprises 11 total members: six student-athletes, one coach and four honorary inductees:

Jess Daley (1996-2000), men's golf
Andrea Hupman (2004-08), women's swimming and diving
Marilyn Peck Hall (1987-91), women's swimming and diving
Ray Ragelis (1949-51), men's basketball
John Shurna (2008-12), men's basketball
Shannon Smith (2009-12), women's lacrosse
Sandy Stap-Clifton (1980-89), women's tennis coach
Christine Brennan ('80, '81), honorary
Michael Wilbon ('80), honorary
Steve ('70, '74) and Sue ('70) Wilson, honorary

The induction ceremony and dinner was held Friday, Sept. 15, at the Hotel Orrington in Evanston.
