EVANSTON, Ill. — The ninth-ranked Northwestern Lacrosse team's game versus No. 4 USC will be played at an off-campus neutral location due to impending inclement weather in the Los Angeles area this weekend.
The Wildcats (2-1) and Trojans (1-0) will now meet at 2 p.m. CT on Saturday (Feb. 18) at Murdock Stadium on the campus of El Camino Community College in Torrance, California.
Due to a forecasted rainstorm this weekend, playing conditions at McAlister Field — the Trojans' home field — may not be safe and/or suitable for use. Recently renovated, Murdock Stadium features a synthetic all-weather surface. Live stats and a live stream (pending confirmation) will still be provided for the game.
Chicago's Big Ten Team is coming off its first loss of the season in overtime at Colorado, 11-10. The 'Cats opened the season with a pair of wins over Canisius, 9-7, and No. 8 Notre Dame, 14-13. USC opened its season with a 20-2 victory over Mountain Pacific Sports Federation foe Saint Mary's College.
