Northwestern to Host ITA Summer Circuit Event June 25-27

EVANSTON, Ill. --
Northwestern University will play host to an ITA Summer Circuit event this Saturday and Sunday, June 25-27 at Vandy Christie Tennis Center.

Admission to the event is free and features both men's and women's action. Competition gets underway with singles play starting at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. Doubles play is slated to begin at approximately 5 p.m. Sunday's action sees doubles action start at 8:30 a.m. with singles to follow. Action will conclude on Monday.

The ITA Summer Circuit, which began in 1993, provides college tennis players, along with junior players and alumni, the opportunity to compete in organized events during the summer months. Players who advance out of the qualifying tournaments will head to Bloomington, Indiana, to take part in the ITA Summer Nationals, held Aug. 13-16 at Indiana University.

Alex Chatt, Rheeya Doshi and Lee Or will be in action to represent the Wildcats' women's team while Ben Vandixhorn and Michael Lorenzini will be in action from the NU's men's program.

Singles draws are available at the top of the page. Doubles draws are not slated to be available until Saturday.
