Notre Dame is Northwestern's most often played nonconference opponent all-time as the teams have met on 88 occasions. The Wildcats won the most recent matchup on Nov. 27, 2009, defeating the Fighting Irish, 72-58, in the semifinal round of the Chicago Invitational Challenge.

NU and Texas have split two matchups, though the teams haven't met since Dec. 23, 1974 when the Longhorns posted a 63-59 win in Austin. Colorado and Northwestern have squared off nine times with the Buffaloes holding a 6-3 series lead. The teams last played Nov. 28, 2004 in Boulder with the hosts notching a 66-57 victory.
