"On Hold," a talk show hosted by Northwestern holder Christian Salem, tries to break the mold of typical, run-of-the-mill late night television. With hard-hitting interview segments with the likes of All-American Anthony Walker Jr., quarterback Clayton Thorson and more members of the 13th-ranked football team in the country, the show highlights the unsung and humble hero of of the Wildcat squad: Salem himself. Best known for impeccable holds in thrilling contests versus Penn State and Notre Dame, Salem presses his guests with hilarious interactions about the plight of the holder and the excitement of Wildcat football.
Episode 1: Salem welcomes sophomore middle linebacker and All-American Anthony Walker to the set of 'On Hold' in the program's series premiere. Walker shares his favorite memory from the season, his most memorable win and why he feels so confident in the Wildcats each week.
Episode 2: Redshirt freshman quarterback and his 10 wins visit the set to discuss where he truly learned to quarterback the Wildcats (and talk to girls), his admiration for the number 18 and what his most favorite Christian Salem play of the season is.
Episode 3: Sophomore running back Justin Jackson aka "The Ball Carrier" joins the set of On Hold and chats with host Christian Salem about the most historic fist pump in sports history, who has the best dance moves on the team and Salem's biggest rival.
Episode 4: Justin Jackson and host of On Hold Christian Salem continue their conversation to talk about how to properly recover after a game, Christian's meditation tactics and more.
Episode 5: Senior All-Big Ten Defensive End Deonte Gibson wraps concludes a week of On Hold with Christian Salem to talk about his motivation on the final sack of the Wisconsin game, where he ranks Christian among all-time holders and more.
