Madalyn Shalter (volleyball) and Nikko Boxall (men's soccer) earn honor
Derek Sulo is in his second year as a Graduate Assistant with the Northwestern Sports Performance Department after joining the Wildcats as an intern in September of 2010. Sulo oversees Women's Swimming while also assisting with Football.
Sulo graduated from North Central College in December 2010 where he played four years of football earning preseason All-America, All-Region and All-Conference accolades. He was a team captain for two-consecutive years and led the Cardinals to two conference championships and playoff appearances. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in exercise science. Sulo is currently pursuing his master's degree in sports administration at Northwestern.
Sulo holds certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (N.S.C.A.) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, USA Weightlifting as a Level 1 Sports Performance Coach and the Functional Movement Screen as a Certified Exercise Professional.
