    Scheuermann is one of two Northwestern field hockey players (the other being 1996 NU Hall of Fame inductee Jennifer Averill) that have won the Honda Broderick Cup Award as the top collegiate field hockey player in the country (1994). Scheuermann was named an All-American in 1993 and 1994, and, in 1994, she was the Big Ten MVP and Offensive Player of the Year. She was a member of the 1994 team that advanced to the NCAA Final Four, where she was named to the All-Tournament team.

    Scheuermann led the `Cats in scoring as a junior and senior. She became the first field hockey player to be inducted into the Vermont Sports Hall of Fame, and she is currently a LPGA teaching and club professional in Virginia.
