    Jack Morelan is in his sixth year at Northwestern, joining in March 2006. In addition to facility management of athletic and recreation facilities on the main campus, Morelan currently oversees gameday operations for men and women's soccer and lacrosse, and assists with game operations for football and men's basketball. He has served as facility manager during Women's Lacrosse (2006-11), Men's Soccer (2008-09), and Women's Tennis (2006-10) NCAA Championships. Recently, Morelan served as tournament director for the 2011 Women's Big Ten Soccer Championships.

    Morelan was recognized in 2010 by Northwestern University's Division of Student Affairs for outstanding contributions to their department. He also is responsible for hiring and training student supervisors at Leonard B. Thomas Athletic Complex.

    Prior to his time at Northwestern, Morelan served as general manager of Tucson Sportspark in Tucson, Ariz., a private outdoor event facility hosting daily volleyball and slow pitch softball leagues, ASA girls fastpitch tournaments, youth baseball leagues and corporate events. In 2005, Morelan received the USSSA Spark Plug of the Year Memorial Award.

    Morelan spent more than four years working in the event management department at the University of Arizona, overseeing volleyball and softball operations as well as assisting with football, men's basketball and summer camps. Morelan served as tournament manager for the Men's Basketball First and Second Rounds (2005), Softball (2001, 2003, 2004) and Volleyball (2000, 2002) NCAA Championships.

    Morelan graduated from Indiana University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in secondary education mathematics, and earned a Masters of Arts in 2001 from the Center for the Study of Higher Education at the University of Arizona. Morelan is currently finishing his Master's degree in sports administration from Northwestern University.
