    Academic Interests
My areas of professional academic interest center around two major areas. One area involves the biomechanical analysis of running gait and its implication on the fabrication of custom foot orthotics. My second area of interest is in osteopathic manual medicine and its role in the treatment of athletic injuries. My research interests however, have been, and will continue to be diverse. I truly enjoy the development of research problems and the overall research process.

    Personal
In 1991, I married my best friend from Michigan State, Bethann, and we have three incredible children - Jonah (3-28-95), Evan (7-22-98), and Genevieve (2-29-00). Bethann is a career Social Worker who continues to serve the geriatric population. She continues to support my professional aspirations, as well as my personal interest in running. We currently reside in Skokie, but can be found most holiday and summer weekends with grandparents and extended family.
