    Contemporary Era:
    2007 Inductee

Amy Kekeisen arguably enjoyed more success than any other student-athlete in Northwestern history. She played on three Big Ten championship field hockey teams and three Big Ten championship softball teams. In addition, Kekeisen played in two NCAA Field Hockey Final Fours (1983, 1984) as well as three NCAA Softball College World Series (1984, 1985, 1986).

Kekeisen excelled in the sport of field hockey and is one of only two four-time, first-team All-Big Ten honorees in Northwestern field hockey history. She was recognized nationally as an honorable mention All-America as a sophomore and as a first-team All-America selection as a junior in 1985. At the time of her induction some 22 years later, Kekeisen remains the Wildcats' second-leading goal scorer (53) and is third-best in career points (120).

As a four-year letterwinner in softball, Kekeisen played outfield for the 'Cats. She appeared in 199 games, collected 104 hits, scored 67 runs, including 38 RBI and two home runs.
