    Kacie Wikierak joined Northwestern in July of 2014 after spending a year with the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA). While at NACDA, Wikierak worked with the Collegiate Event and Facility Management Association (CEFMA), Division I-AAA Athletics Directors Association (DI-AAA ADA), National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics (N4A), and National Association of Athletic Development Directors (NAADD).

    Prior to NACDA, Wikierak completed her MBA with a concentration in sports management at DePaul University while serving as a graduate assistant in both athletics academic advising and compliance. A native of Crystal Lake, Ill., she also held internships with the 2012 PGA Ryder Cup, Chicago Sports Commission and Sports Recruits, LLC.

    In 2011, Wikierak graduated with two bachelor's degrees in psychology and Spanish from the University of Denver (DU). While at Denver, Wikierak was captain of the volleyball team, named the Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2007, and honored as the Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Week seven times during her career. She also served as the treasurer of the DU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and a representative for the Sun Belt Conference SAAC.
